After ten years at a multinational firm, I created Inclusive Consulting to offer a more consultative and personalised approach to the region.
Having recruited senior finance positions across the region for over a decade, I’ve learnt that retaining the right talent is just as important as attracting the right talent and that the two should come hand in hand. This is why I wanted to set up a truly consultative company, that can offer support and guidance to growing and developing teams, as well as attract the right talent when needed.
I pride myself on bringing a personal and tailored approach, specialist regional knowledge and developing long-term clients.
What’s your favourite way to communicate?
Face to face (and now online!). Now more than ever, it’s so important to understand how people are thinking and feeling to offer the right level of support and solutions: this is by far and away the most effective way of doing that.
What’s one topic you could bond with any stranger over?
Parenthood or running – both are equally hard (and frustrating at times) but incredibly rewarding!
How would you describe the Inclusive Consulting team?
Committed, sharp, fun, engaging, problem solvers and team players. We all share the same values, but have a diverse mix of ideas and perspectives, which is invaluable when driving a growing business!
“Emma is one of the most thoughtful, loyal, considerate, hard-working, honest and down to earth people I’ve ever worked with. She is incredibly generous with her time and thinks about others before herself. She is also a brilliant problem and dispute resolver. Finally, she is a trusted advisor to many senior individuals across Yorkshire and one of the first people I would go to in a crisis.
It’s for these reasons she has built a brilliant network across South Yorkshire and why people want to work with her again and again. She’s a highly experienced recruiter – she works quickly, with precision and will work harder than anyone else in the market to get the job done.”
