I’m Jack, 30 years old married dad of two children. I am a Manchester United fan through and through with almost 10 years’ experience of working in the recruitment sector. In my earlier career I worked in professional sport in the US before moving home to the UK in 2016.
I have extensive experience of working across retained, exclusive and contingent recruitment across the UK and more recently internationally, where I act as a trusted advisor to my clients to deliver top-tier recruitment solutions.
I am excited to join the team at Inclusive Consulting to use my experience in helping shape and develop an exciting offering with a people-centric focus. I am excited by working under the current executive leadership and look forward to achieving my personal growth ambitions over the coming years.
What’s your favourite aspect of working in a team environment, and how do you believe collaboration contributes to success?
My favourite aspect of working in a high performing team is the ability to work together to overcome complex challenges – working alone can be a lonely place sometimes! I believe that strong team collaboration not only increases the productivity and overall output of the team, but also helps people feel valued.
When it comes to sourcing candidates, what innovative methods or platforms do you find most effective in identifying talent?
I am a big fan of the “old school” method of picking the phone up and building strong candidate relationships, but with the emergence of new technologies, I utilise new platforms that allow me to quickly and effectively find high quality individuals for my clients. I believe that although the recruitment landscape is rapidly evolving, meeting people face to face will always be the most important part of developing longstanding relationships.
What’s your favourite way to unwind after a busy day at work?
As a father of two young children there isn’t much time to unwind really! I am a lover of all things Manchester United and enjoy investing my spare time travelling home and away. I love spending as much time with my wife and children as possible and think it’s really important to try to balance work and professional life!
