I decided to pursue a career that incorporates my love for building relationships and helping people, and that is how I found recruitment.
My desire to join Inclusive stemmed from an ambition to work with an agency that truly represents my own values, where the relationships and people involved are at the heart of our focus, allowing the ability to offer a fully holistic service to both candidates and clients alike.
What do you do to ensure you remain current with the latest industry trends?
I’ve no shame in admitting I’ve become a bit of a ‘geek’ for my role and I tend to fill my time trying to keep ahead of the curve in a rapidly changing sector.
While podcasts, newsletters and the internet offer some great material, I’m still a firm believer in networking and building relationships as the best way to offer the utmost service.
What makes you passionate about your work?
The people. We cover a variety of projects here at Inclusive, whether it is filling an urgent critical hire, supporting somebody to land their dream job, or simply offering advice.
I love being able to make a difference to people’s lives day in, day out.
What’s your personal superpower – the thing you do better than anyone else – that you bring to the team?
I’ve always felt there’s a lot to be said for people who can light up a room and I make an effort to bring happiness and enthusiasm to any room I’m in.
What’s one topic you could bond with any stranger over?
Food – I am a big foodie, I love cooking and trying new restaurants. I’m always looking for new recommendations.
What’s a surprising fact about you?
I used to foster hedgehogs to help fatten them up for the winter.
