What’s your personal superpower?
Understanding what people aren’t saying. I hope I am able to empathise with others, what drives them and understand what a client truly needs and wants. I have a very strong ability not only across search and selection and finding the ideal candidate for a role, but also in asking pertinent and thought provoking questions in order to get to the root of the matter.
What client is a good match for you?
The perfect client would be open to challenging themselves and crucially they’d also challenge me to be a better recruiter – they’d challenge me to provide shortlists that are diverse, they’d expect me to challenge their preconceptions, they’d challenge me on my market knowledge and they’d expect me to work quickly, efficiently and effectively whilst never compromising on the quality of the candidate. They wouldn’t want a transactional service.
They’d also be interested in improving the wellbeing of their teams through creating cultures that are inclusive, that respect individuality, are compassionate and geared towards coaching rather than telling.
